Map the space using a hololens to get a 3D model of the coffee shop

Position the 3D assets in the unity Scene

Develop the trigger areas to play animations and show/hide elements when the user was inside the area.

Create a system to make sure the real world and the digital world always matched, so the trigger areas wouldn't be miss-placed.

Implement UI animations and 3D objects transitions.

A quick prototype using our sister coffee shop, Goodboybob, as a playground for experimenting with Augmented Reality in a retail setting during my first year (Intern) at Tool of North America.
Creative Director Clay Weishaar and myself decided to test Apple's ARKit sdk as soon as it was release. This is the result of that exploration which combine our passion for new technology and good coffee.
